I am doing a 10,000ft Skydive on Saturday 11th July (providing the weather is being kind) to raise money for Revival – Wiltshire RASAC a charity close to my heart.
Last year I had one to one therapy sessions weekly for 6 months with this charity to address the previous trauma I have experienced. I also attended their safety and stabilisation sessions which gave me the tools I needed to help ground me when I was dealing with difficult emotions and feelings.
Working with this charity has saved my life in many ways and I am now living the life I never thought was possible, I am so grateful I was able to work with them as the work they do with helping victims really is amazing, especially as this is totally free to service users.
As they are a charity they rely on donations from the public so I am doing this skydive to raise money they deserve to help others as they have helped me.
I am a wee bit scared but I was also scared to start working with them and it changed my life for the better so sometimes you need to do the things in life that scare you 🙂 xoxo
